Spokane Ignite Volleyball Club
This page explains how parents and legal guardians voluntarily opt in to receive informational SMS/text messages from Spokane Ignite Volleyball Club.
Parents and guardians register their athlete online for tryouts, camps, clinics, and club programs. During registration they are presented with a separate, optional, unchecked SMS consent checkbox. The registration url is: https://spokaneignite.byga.net/tryouts/t8ku2yi7td/signup
Registration can be completed without selecting the SMS checkbox.
The SMS consent checkbox is not pre-selected and requires affirmative action by the parent or legal guardian before informational SMS messages are sent.
Only parents and guardians who voluntarily select the checkbox receive informational text messages regarding:
- Tryout results
- Team offers
- Registration reminders
- Payment reminders
- Practice updates
- Tournament information
- Schedule changes
- Weather cancellations
- Emergency club notifications
- Other important club-related communications

Registration Process
The registration process follows these steps:
- Parent or guardian begins online registration.
- Parent or guardian enters player and contact information.
- The registration form displays a separate, optional SMS consent checkbox.
- Parents may leave the checkbox unchecked and still complete registration.
- Only parents who voluntarily check the box receive informational SMS messages from Spokane Ignite Volleyball Club.
